Awaroa Organic Winery is a cooperative vineyard located in regenerating native forest in the Awaawaroa Valley of Waiheke Island. Run by six partners of Orapiu Grove Farm since 1998, their goal is to operate a commercial organic enterprise while protecting and enhancing the land and its ecosystems.
Awaroa Reserve Wines include the Requiem (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec), Melba Peach (Syrah) and The Dan (Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec). They also produce an Awaroa Estate range including Syrah, Bordeaux Blend (Merlot/Cabernet/Malbec) and Merlot. Their Waiheke Road wines include a Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc but use grapes from Gisborne and Marlborough.
